I participate in Board and Executive Committee meetings and advise the Chairman and President on public policy issues, priorities, and strategies at the local, state, federal, and international level. I monitor public policy issues impacting the company and its subsidiaries on a local, state, federal, and international level. I work with state and local public officials; company and subsidiary employees; independent contractors; and trade groups to communicate company positions related to public policy issues, priorities, and strategies and implement company policies and strategies. I participate with federal lobbyists in communicating Company policy positions to members of the US Congress and staff. I represent the Company on various steering committees, in policy planning groups, and with trade groups.
