About Greta Rose

I approach visual design like I curate music and connect with listeners when I’m on the air as a host and DJ at KEXP. In design, I seek a breadth of solutions and conduct research so that when I enter the conceptualizing phase of the design process, I make an informed decision. In radio, I go through a similar process when I research albums and artists of historical significance or vet emerging talent so that I can share relevant and interesting playlists with KEXP listeners. When choosing a visual direction, I make sure that the look and feel accurately represent the existing brand and will further expand the reach to the target market. Similarly, when determining which songs to play on the air, I select songs that will match the cultural mood and collective feel of those listening and further forge a connection and build a relationship with the audience. Design and music are two industries with natural aesthetic and expressive crossover. I am excited to be at a point in my career where I can seamlessly blend these skills together.

Fundraise for the organization during seasonal drives that sustain the station. Create and produce podcasts with over downloads. Promoted from the role of Board-Operator to DJ and On-Air Host for being dependable, adaptable and a fast learner.
