About Greta Stewart

Greta is a psychology graduate from the University of Iowa, where she achieved academic excellence and pursued her passion for psychology, public health, and social justice. She completed a Public Health certificate and a Social Justice minor, enhancing her analytical, research, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. She also received multiple honors, including the Iowa Scholars Award, the Dean\'s List, and the President\'s List, for her outstanding academic performance and dedication. As a recent intern at the Transamerica Institute, Greta applied her skills and knowledge to create impactful content and materials for the biweekly Public Health podcast and the Healthier Traditions Cookbook. She demonstrated flexibility, organizational prowess, and self-sufficiency in managing multiple tasks, such as scriptwriting, copy-editing, media outreach, and graphic design. She also showed her ability to bridge the gap between science, research, and accessible information, by refining complex scientific research into actionable insights for the audience. Additionally, Greta has gained valuable experience in leadership, communication, and crowdfunding through her volunteer work at an NGO in Croatia and her ongoing side gig as a dog walker, caretaker, and client coordinator. Greta is eager to contribute to an innovative environment and effect positive change.
