Knows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates the mission, vision and values of BSW Health in behaviors, practices and decisions. Assists Director of Tax in managing all aspects of tax compliance for BSW Health and its related affiliates. Including but not limited to- Review of Forms 990, Forms 990-T, state and local tax reports as applicable- Assist in determining estimated tax liabilities and prepare the applicable quarterly filings along with the timely preparation of tax extensions- Coordinate with the general accounting department and other organizational departments as needed to gather all information needed for tax compliance filings- Assist with community benefit compliance and filing the annual state reports as required- Develops and maintains working relationships with local departments to obtain tax information and ensure proper application of rules an regulations as it pertains to 501(r).
