ABOUT GRETA HUGHSON
I have 20+ years of experience working for non-profit organisations. Since 2016, I have mostly worked as a freelance editor, writer and project manager. My work includes publications for people living with health conditions such as HIV, cancer or MS, and resources for healthcare professionals. Until its closure in July 2024, I worked with the HIV information charity aidsmap on its excellent coverage of scientific conferences.Since 2022, I have been the editor of the Sexual Health, Reproductive Health and HIV Policy eBulletin for the College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (CoSRH). I have an MA in Languages (Interpreting and Translation) and an MSc in Sustainable Food and Natural Resources.I’m inspired by the intersection of climate and health (planetary health), and efforts to decarbonise health systems. Since January 2024, I\'ve been running a Substack focused on exploring this area (do sign up!), and since September 2024, I\'ve been working with the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare as a volunteer and as a freelance consultant.
