Developed and gained approval for a new program strategy team focused on increasing incomes for women in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Built team and led execution of a $75m per year grant budget, working in partnership with other economic opportunity teams at the foundation. Published a white paper on credit access for low-income women and developed foundation\'s framework for improving credit access for low-income communities. In final stages of building local currency fund for female entrepreneurs in East Africa and Nigeria in partnership with European DFIs, donors and aligned philanthropies. Built strong portfolio of grants with partners including the World Bank, the ILO, the European Investment Bank, FSD Africa, Care International and UN Women.
