ABOUT GEORG REICHARD
Dr. Georg Reichard is a Professor and Chair of the School of Building Construction at Georgia Tech. His research deals with numerical methods, simulation, and data modeling, in particular in the area of building sciences. In his current research, he focuses on building performance, energy efficiency in buildings, retrofitting solutions, systems integration, integrated control strategies, and smart building materials - using experimental and simulation modeling and assessment techniques to improve our buildings, their systems, and operational processes.Dr. Reichard has many years of technical and educational experience in both industry and academia. His technical background covers broad areas of civil and architectural engineering ranging from numerical analysis to experimental and simulation methods for sustainable design of enclosure systems. Dr. Reichard is a professionally licensed engineer in Virginia and has extensive experience as a consultant and expert witness in building science related issues.
