It is acclaimed for pushing the boundaries of innovative models of care, advocacy, and social enterprise on behalf of marginalized populations.· Serve as the face of the organization to external stakeholders; seek and establish external partnerships to support new ventures as necessary· Manage the agency’s foundation/corporate grants portfolio, as well as lead government proposal development; regularly secure 6- and 7-figure grant awards· Provide Executive Director-level support to the New York State Harm Reduction Association including board management and state conference planning (2022, 2024)· Identify, evaluate, and recommend opportunities to create new lines of revenue for the agency; support executive decision-making by providing quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial modelling, etc.· Led negotiations and startup of hotel-based social service programs reaching thousands experiencing homelessness (NYC DHS COVID isolation shelters, NYC MOCJ reentry transitional housing, NYC DHS housing for migrant families)Social Enterprise:· Secured license and provided overall management around launch of Housing Works Cannabis Co, a HW social enterprise and New York State\'s first legal cannabis retail (\"2023 Best Dispensary\": Established the Housing Works Cannabis Community (https://hwcannabis.co/community), a HW venture to help NY social equity licensees launch their own small businesses; first cohort launched Feb-May 2024· Serve as Account Manager to Cohort members; rally multi-departmental HW team to provide continuous support and overcome barriers to success· Negotiate investment and back-office infrastructure deals; navigate constantly evolving legal and regulatory landscape for New York cannabis
