Before I became a lawyer, I was a high school physics teacher who loved breaking down complex concepts to make them easy to understand. I bring that same mindset to my work as a high-stakes commercial litigator, focusing on representing corporate policyholders in insurance-related matters.Leveraging my insurance litigation expertise, I am a leader in the corporate liability divestiture space (for both asbestos and PFAS), and I help clients navigate insurance renewals to ensure optimal policy wording.My passion for simplifying the complicated also led me to create PolicyholderPlaybook.com, a bi-weekly blog that shares strategies used by top insurance policyholder advocates.While insurance is a major focus of my practice, I’ve also handled cases involving professional negligence, oil and gas incidents, commercial contracts, and employment disputes. One of my most meaningful achievements was securing a class action settlement in an employment discrimination case that drove nationwide change. Pro bono work remains a cornerstone of my practice, and I’m proud to serve on my firm’s Pro Bono Committee.I am lucky and honored to have had my work recognized regionally and nationally. In 2025, I was ranked in the Chambers and Partners Guide as \"Up and Coming in Insurance: Policyholder.\" In 2024, I was a recipient of the ABA’s “Top 40 Young Lawyers” Award.
