Initially a secondment but made permanent in April 2025. Overseeing free and independent support for both prosecution and defence witnesses in the criminal courts across Greater Manchester. Line management of the staff who manage the volunteers at each court and our enhanced support for vulnerable and intimidated witnesses. Advocating for our witnesses through stakeholder engagement with HMCTS, CPS, GMP and partner agencies.
