With over nine years of work experience in the field of sanctions tuning and data analytics, I am a compliance and risk expert with a passion for ensuring that financial institutions meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance. As the Head of Sanctions Tuning and Data Analytics at Mashreq Bank, I lead a team of analysts and engineers to optimize the performance and accuracy of the sanctions screening systems, using Fircosoft and other tools. I also oversee the data quality, integrity, and governance of the sanctions data, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Previously, I worked as an Associate Compliance Officer for Sanctions Tuning and Data Analytics at Société Générale, where I managed multiple projects for clients across the globe, and as an Associate Business Analyst at Fircosoft, where I received in-depth training and certification in Fircosoft products and solutions. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and I am a Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS) and a Fircosoft Transaction Screening Specialist. I have also published a research paper on keyword advertising for lean start-ups in the International Journal of Business and Social Science.
