ABOUT GREGORY SCOTT WEHMEYER
I’m thrilled to be launching a new entrepreneurial venture that combines my passion for Product Design with a cause close to my heart. As a father of two non-verbal autistic children, now grown, who still struggle to speak with the help of their outdated Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, I share the frustration of teachers and parents grappling with a one-size-fits-all approach to assistive technology. It is with this in mind that I’m founding VoiceFund, a collaborative crowdfunding platform where AAC users, caregivers, educators, and innovators can work together to design and fund solutions that truly work for EVERYONE—custom apps and affordable devices built by the community, for the community.
