   I work with the Chief Executive Officer to direct all aspects of the organization\'s risk management policies, programatic offerings, key result areas, and strategic initiatives. As the Chief Risk Officer, my role is vital in positioning the organization for revenue growth while helping to provide guidance in lowering the frequency and severity of claims. A key function of my position in the organization is effectively communicating with members and stakeholders. Maintaining relationships with professionals in higher education, the legal field, insurance, and risk management has allowed me to grow professionally and impact the organization\'s metrics. My goals include implementing change initiatives to increase program effectiveness and organizational buy-in. Day-to-day I deal with legal matters, operational and reputation risk issues, program development, and education.
