About Gregory Cohen
I aspire to work in a philanthropic capacity in which I can help make a lasting impact in people’s lives & for a crucial mission. I deeply value my interpersonal relationships and desire a meaningful career in which my success is intertwined with helping people, my community, and making a meaningful impact. In line with that purpose, I volunteer for Friendship Circle International, a nonprofit that exists to bring happiness and companionship to children and young adults with special needs. I fundraise thousands of dollars each year and run half-marathons across the country in support of Friendship Circle. This is all done by cultivating friendship, advocating inclusion, inspiring leadership, empowering community, & more. Additionally, I volunteered in the Israeli Defense Forces. In my current role with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), I’ve managed and led my campaign to three record-breaking revenue years in row. In doing so, I won three prestigious LLS national fundraising awards for my impactful work as a top performing campaign & fundraiser. At LLS, I see firsthand what impact donor dollars can make in support of our cancer patients and their families. I bring that drive and passion with me everyday - to make a monumental impact in support of a crucial mission. I want to be able to explain to people why they should know about your organization and contribute to its mission. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked in sales and coaching roles for Blinds.com (A Home Depot company), the #1 online retailer for window coverings. I sold over $1M worth of window coverings in a fiscal year. I was promoted to a sales coaching position and was one of a few team members to build our company’s Skill Development Department. I was responsible for the mentoring and development of our sales design consultants and led my individual team to an estimated $15M in annual sales. I’ve worn multiple hats and built meaningful relationships along the way. I’m looking forward to connecting and building continued relationships.
