About Greg Foster

I’m a senior strategist and consultant with three decades of experience working across strategic planning, philanthropy, public–private partnership, law, entrepreneurship, and organizational leadership.I currently serve as a Senior Consultant at Grant Street Consulting, where I work alongside clients and colleagues to strengthen strategic planning, clarify priorities in complex systems, and design programs that are both mission-driven and fundable. My work includes helping organizations align strong strategies with foundation and philanthropic opportunities—and translating vision into practical, well-supported action.Most recently, I served as Senior Director of Development for Foundation Relations at the University of Arizona Foundation, where I led a team that helped campus partners secure numerous multi-million-dollar grants from regional and national private foundations supporting research, community resilience, workforce development, health care, climate solutions, and agriculture.Earlier in my career, I practiced law for twenty years as a trial attorney and law firm partner. In parallel, I founded and led FC Tucson and Major League Soccer Preseason in Tucson, building a nationally recognized public–private partnership with lasting economic and infrastructure impact. I later served as Interim Executive Director of Cornell Career Services, supporting institutional strategy and stakeholder engagement.
