Former international and investigative journalist turned portfolio manager and CFA charterholder. Started in the financial industry as an equity and fixed income analyst at a mutual fund and hedge fund company with $30 billion+ AUM before becoming a portfolio manager at a family office. This follows a career abroad as a journalist for both RTL German TV, the country\'s largest private television network as well as The New York Times and NPR. Unique investigative research skills have helped create significant gains in equity and fixed-income investments through both deep dives on companies and activist campaigns, one of which resulted in the resignation of a Fortune 500 chairman. Passed Level I of the CFA (2014), Level II (2015) and Level (2016) and became a CFA Charterholder in August, 2016.
