   Co-managed and directed a third party risk management assessment at a $1+ billion dollar semi-public research university in Pittsburgh, which included recommendations and roadmap for implementation across three functional domains: procurement, information technology, and research.+ Led an assessment at state university co-sponsored by the Office of General Counsel and Chief Audit Executive focused on resourcing of its Office of Internal Audit and best practices related to the coordination of key assurance functions (legal, enterprise risk management, internal audit, and institutional compliance).+ Led an engagement for a U.S. Department of State contractor focused on Research Security capacity building in Sub Saharan Africa; conducted a workshop on dual-use and emerging technologies in the context of research institutions and securing intellectual property for a group of government and university stakeholders in Nigeria and Kenya.+ Conducted, managed, and provided subject matter expertise on multiple research security and export control focused engagements (both advisory and operational) at clients which have spanned public and private R1 universities, children’s hospitals, and foreign governments.+ Served as interim Assistant Vice President at a private Office of Naval Research cognizant R1 research university, with responsibility for both central pre- and post-award operations, and reported directly to the CFO. During tenure as interim, hired, onboarded, and trained directors, assistant directors, and a team of new grants administrators, as well as evaluated and reimplemented cradle-to-grave research administration processes.
