About Gregory Serrano Arevalo

I am currently a third-year student at Princeton University and an economics major with a finance certificate. After studying economics, statistics, and mathematics for the past two years, I have solidified my interest in the finance industry and hope to make a real impact on the world and my community using my financial analysis. I also work best when put in the context of collaboration in order to bring about projects that I can be proud of. I am originally from Salinas, California, and have gone very far away from home. I never knew I would become an economics major, until I was told that I always think in terms of optimization, trade-offs, and quantities. At Princeton, I feel like I could capitalize on my personality and characteristics and contribute to the world in meaningful ways. As of now, I plan to work for 2 or 3 years in the industry after graduating and then completing an MBA. My education at Princeton has culminated in and instilled within me different ways of thinking critically, quantitatively, and effectively building deep relationships with the people around me.
