I serve as the lead engineer in the Substation Design group. See prior responsibilities for this position plus: Support supervisor with the development of project scope documents. Support supervisor with the development of project schedules. Support supervisor in the development of substation financial planning and budgeting inputs. Develop construction phasing strategy for brownfield projects. Coordinate with the Protection and Controls group on relay point list development and requirements. Coordinate with Purchasing department in management of procuring and delivery of material. Coordinate with CAD services on print management. Serve as mentor to interns and new hires to the position. Various other. A professional highlight for me during this period would be managing a major upgrade at an in service 345/115kV substation. This project was very challenging and rewarding for a variety of reasons.
