WORK HISTORY
Manager, Regulatory Affairs @DTE Energy
Ann Arbor, MI, US
As Manager - Regulatory Affairs, I am responsible for monitoring market rules developed in all of the RTOs/ISOs with a special emphasis on PJM; and FERC activities that could affect DTE Energy Trading\'s business interests and financial performance. I had the opportunity to sponsor testimony and act as the expert witness for DTE Energy and DTE Energy Trading in the Seams Elimination Cost Adjustment litigation at FERC. Energy Trading had $9 million dollars in claims in the SECA case which were successfully resolved in the litigation and settlement process at zero cost. I have also been involved in major FERC cases that involved market rules and resettlement dollars, writing the initial drafts for outside counsel to edit and file. I was also an integral part of the process of successfully responding to the information requests from FERC Enforcement in the Lake Erie Loopflow case. Energy Trading and other firms were absolved from charges of market manipulation.
