Greg currently works as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Pearson as a technical lead and senior member of a team responsible for building automated test scoring models with a focus in Natural Language Processing. Greg previously worked as a Data Scientist at Clarios, a global market leader in automotive battery manufacturing, where he performed advanced data analytics to help inform business decisions. Greg has a strong interest in data science and regularly seeks out education and training focused on emerging technological advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a particular interest in natural language processing.Prior to transitioning into the data science field, Greg practiced for over 10 years as a commercial litigator representing businesses, municipalities, and non-profit entities in a wide range of commercial disputes, with a particularly strong understanding of both the insurance and automotive industries. Greg also assisted his clients in optimizing their insurance coverage protections and implementing other risk management strategies. Greg represented clients in state and federal venues nationwide at both the trial court and appellate levels, and also successfully resolved disputes through mediation and other dispute resolution platforms. Greg is a member of the bar in Wisconsin, California, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
