ABOUT GREGORY LOEWEN

I have completed a fellowship in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in Boulder CO, and am a certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Provider. As a resident at the Cleveland Clinic, in addition to internal medicine, I completed extra psychiatric training, and I also trained as a Shadow Work facilitator. In 2017, I published the book \"The Unexplored Room\" about the Jungian shadow, and experiential work on personal issues. My background as an academic pulmonary and critical care physician and author of over 70 scientific publications, with 30 years of experience caring for patients provides me with a rich understanding of medical safety and principles that are essential for psychedelic therapy. I was named Best Doctor multiple times by Best Doctors of America, and am the former director of Pulmonary Services at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York, as well as the former director of Pulmonary Oncology for Providence Regional Cancer Center in Spokane. I have extensive experience in the arena of teaching and public discourse, and have served as a faculty member at Washington State University, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, University at Buffalo, and at Pacific Northwest University. I write and work in the southern tier of New York State, where I live with my wife, Suzi.
