In this hybrid managerial/individual contributor role, led several platforms within Exploratory research such as CCUS, focusing primarily on DAC, bio-chemicals, and broadly supporting the M&A team in a variety of fields as well as managing a team of five scientists while supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce.Led the development of exploratory techno-economic, third-party analysis, and M&A tools within the exploratory group. Deployment of these tools led to an increase in productivity of over 50% from prior year with continuing productivity improvements of 5% YoY.Led bio-chemicals platform space, providing routine strategic analysis to CEO and CTO, including identifying both organic and inorganic opportunities for HUOP to take advantage of. For the organic plays, developed four novel technologies in this space that are planned for development as favorable market conditions emerge. Protected technologies with robust IP strategy. Actively overseeing an average of five organic projects in space.For two years, led Exploratory platforms CCUS initiative, which included working with regional labs across the globe. With peers, developed variety of models to economically evaluate the DAC space and made inorganic and organic recommendations based on internally developed DAC models. Supported the launch of projects in PFAS remediation and biofuels spaces by providing early stage technoeconomic analysis to help guide the experimental laboratory work. These projects are anticipated to be commercialized in the next two years.
