With 27 years of experience, I’ve built a career at the intersection of Commercial Real Estate, Facility Management, IT, and Workplace Technology. I specialize in AV systems engineering, IT modernization, vendor governance, and large-scale collaboration solutions. Currently, I serve as Senior AV Systems Engineer and Service Lead at VISA, co-leading the AV Builds Team. In this role, I drive global AV standards, strengthen vendor relationships, and deliver enterprise-wide solutions that improve collaboration, reduce costs, and elevate the end-user experience.My foundation was laid during nearly 25 years with SAIC and its predecessor organizations (TASC, Engility, Northrop Grumman). There, I advanced across AV, telecom, network engineering, and facilities IT, ultimately leading enterprise-scale projects across more than 140 sites. I authored AV standards and roadmaps, supported C-Suite operations, and managed secure technology upgrades in highly regulated environments. These experiences shaped my ability to balance technical precision with strategic business alignment.What sets me apart is not only my technical expertise but also my passion for leadership. I actively study leadership trends and methods, exploring what drives success across different styles and generations. I believe every leader offers something to learn from. I’m also an advocate for examining the other side of the equation, followership. Leaders don’t exist without followers and understanding that relationship is just as critical. While I don’t go in depth on this here, it’s a topic I welcome discussing in other forums.Outside of my core career path, I once ran my own event promotions business, channeling my passion for live music into event and artist management. Through that experience, I gained valuable lessons in marketing and advertising, learning firsthand how to build audiences, promote brands, and engage communities. It also sharpened my skills in customer engagement, branding, and operational management.On a more personal note, I’m a long-time tropical fish hobbyist.
