About Gregory Dunn Cbsi

Mr. Gregory Dunn is an aspiring, passionate professional engineer with over 16 years of structural engineering experience specializing in bridge design, analysis, and rehabilitation. Mr. Dunn completed his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering with a structural concentration in 2009 at Drexel University. He completed three diverse co-ops gaining experience in four major disciplines of civil engineering namely land development, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction monitoring.Shortly thereafter, he began pursuit of a master of science degree in structural engineering on a part-time basis at Drexel University and completed his degree in 2016. Mr. Dunn has provided structural engineering consulting services to a variety of clients including PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Delaware River Port Authority, Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission, GDOT, VDOT, ConnDOT, TDOT, ARDOT, NJDOT, PRHTA, USACE, and local PA counties/townships. Contracts include traditional design-bid-build projects as well as design-build projects. Experience includes, but is not limited to, existing structure inspections, existing structure rehabilitation design/analysis, proposed structure design/analysis, bridge finite element analysis, construction support services, CAD, project specification development, cost estimating, project proposals, Bridge Information Modeling (BRIM), and project management duties all with a strong emphasis on bridges.Mr. Dunn passed the professional engineering exam in April 2014 and is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania. He became an ISI Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) as well as a Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) in October 2015. In March 2019, he became an official ISI Envision verifier.Mr. Dunn received \"Top 40 Under 40\" honors from Drexel University in 2018 acknowledging his cumulative contributions to the civil engineering industry and local community. He received the 2020 ASCE Philadelphia Section Structural Engineer of the Year.
