Leading a high‑performing team of Senior Operational Excellence Managers and Senior Project Managers dedicated to strengthening the performance, resilience, and long‑term competitiveness of SCHOTT’s global operations. My team and I support 40+ manufacturing sites worldwide, driving impact on critical operational challenges while steering strategic, cross‑functional initiatives at the group level. Our mission is structured around three pillars:1. Operational Support to Manufacturing SitesWe intervene on high‑priority and time‑critical topics across SCHOTT’s global footprint. Typical engagements include cost optimisation, design to cost, process stabilization, lead‑time improvement, value stream optimization, industrial investments, production transfers, greenfield factory setups, and the introduction of new manufacturing technologies.2. Development & Deployment of Operational ExcellenceWe support the business units with Operational Excellence standards, while enabling best practice sharing, providing methodological guidance, and deploying tools and frameworks that strengthen continuous improvement capabilities across all business units.3. Leadership of a Global Efficiency ProgramI am responsible for steering a company‑wide transformation program aimed at sustainably increasing efficiency, both in manufacturing and in support and central functions. This involves partnering closely with senior executives and board members to ensure alignment, transparency, and measurable impact.
