ABOUT GREGORY CONLEY
I am an attorney in New Jersey who has channeled his passion for tobacco harm reduction into results that benefit consumers and public health. Since 2014, I have served as the President of the American Vaping Association, a nonprofit that advocates for policies that encourage smokers to quit smoking using vapor products and other smokeless options. While in law and business school from 20••••13, I served as the pro bono legislative director for the Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association (CASAA), the largest consumer group representing the interests of users of smoke-free tobacco and nicotine products in the U.S. I have organized grassroots advocacy campaigns across the U.S. against anti-THR legislation across the U.S. My writing has appeared in outlets in several countries and I have spoken at dozens of conferences, conventions, and state legislatures.
