I am the President and CEO of Cokinos | Young, the largest, longest-standing, construction law firm in Texas dedicated to construction deals and disputes, with over 39 years of experience in the construction practice.Practice areas include all aspects of commercial and industrial construction, including office buildings, high rise condominiums, schools, power plants, processing plants, wastewater facilities, refineries, pipelines, infrastructure, highway construction, as well as offshore production and drilling platforms. Listed as a Top 100 Super Lawyers in the State of Texas every year since 2007, listed in the Best Lawyers of America since 2006, and Best Lawyers 2018 Construction Law “Lawyer of the Year,” and the first attorney in Houston inducted into the American College of Construction Lawyers, an invitation-only organization made up of the top 1% of construction lawyers in North America. Instrumental in establishing the Construction Law Journal in 2002, serving as its editor for the first seventeen years of the Journal’s publication.
