Gregory has been described as “having a very impressive depth of knowledge and a natural ability to make sense of serious issues.” His recognised for his \"superb knowledge of discrimination law\" and being \"outstanding\" in disability discrimination in particular. His practice is evenly divided between employment law and personal injury/clinical negligence. His employment practice consists of advices and representation in employment tribunals and in the Employment Appeals Tribunal. He works across the country. He became probably the youngest (in terms of \'call\') Heads of Team of a Leading Set when he was made Head of the Employment Team in 2017.His employment practice ranges from complex discrimination, unfair dismissal to whistleblowing. He is regularly instructed on multi-week cases or in cases involving sensitive matters or having challenging characteristics. His personal injury and clinical negligence practice is predominately claimant-based. He is able to bring huge experience of disability-related matters into client conferences and trials. As a barrister, Gregory has the distinct advantage of a very successful background in business: he founded and established over 12 years an award-winning business providing disability-access information: This involved the employment of more than 200 people over the two decades, providing services to many Local Authorities, blue-chip clients and small businesses. Gregory remains the Chair of AccessAble; a business which turns over > £4m and employs currently c.95 people. In view of this, Gregory is exceptionally well-placed as a barrister to draw on his wide and varied experience, especially in the fields of disability and discrimination. He has a growing reputation for forensic cross-examination which has been the subject of judicial praise.
