About Gregory Arcidy

My professional background mainly consists of working in customer service where I\'ve been able to consistently improve and refine my interpersonal and communication skills. After a decade of working in customer service I now am looking for new challenges and with that a career change and transition to B2B sales. I do believe that the skills I have acquired will translate into success when it comes to building relationships with potential clients. I\'ve spent the last 3 months taking a thorough and intensive online course in technology sales development. I have made sure to supplement this course with further personal development by reading books from a variety of different authors from Dale Carnegie to Robert Cialdini. Books like \"How to Win Friends and Influence People\",\"Fanatical Prospecting\" and \"Spin Selling\" have enriched my understanding of how to build relationships. Skills I\'ve learned through both taking this course and reading these books have taught me how to research new prospects, cold outreach (email, phone, Linkedin) and run a discovery call using SPIN and BANT. In addition I have also begun to familiarize myself with a variety of CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Navigator, among other with the hopes of quicker integration less time needed to learn these programs on the job. My desire now is to begin applying what I have learned during this time by starting from the ground up in sales development. I believe I can be a real asset to your sales development team with the knowledge I have acquired during this time. I look forward to continuing my professional and personal growth at your company.
