Responsible for my own portfolio of clients dealing with all aspects of general practice with an emphasis on providing a value-added service to meet the individual needs of the client. More specifically, preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Performance of both statutory and non-statutory audits for a variety of clients including Limited Companies, Charities both incorporated and un-incorporated, Clubs and Associations. Experience of all tax matters relating to income tax, capital gains tax, corporation tax, VAT and inheritance tax not only in terms of compliance but also tax-planning issues together with HMRC compliance visits and full tax enquires. Involved in the installation and maintenance of SAGE bookkeeping and payroll systems for a variety of clients together with the management of the practice accounting and tax software.
