ABOUT GREGOR. MAY

Most operations problems aren\'t ops problems. They\'re \"nobody built the system yet\" problems.That\'s been my job for 15 years-I\'ve worked across startups, scale-ups, civic institutions, and professional communities — as consultant, operations lead, chief of staff, and events director. Seventeen roles, most without a playbook. The through-line has always been the same: figure out what\'s actually broken, build something that works, and make sure it runs without me-At visseiro, I helped grow a company from 7 to 26 people, secured €1.12M in funding, and cut operating costs by 53%. At Meta Mate, I reduced complaint volumes by 85% and enabled expansion into five markets under pandemic circumstances. I\'ve spoken to 350+ audiences — including at Carnegie Mellon University, Entrepreneurship Summit. Appointed as a lay judge. Completed the Climate Drift 2nd cohort.I am not a niche specialist. I am a generalist who can see across the whole system — and usually spots what the specialist missed-Right now I lead Operations and Events at talque. I\'m drawn to mission-driven organisations in the built environment, hardware, and production sectors — the ones scaling faster than their systems can handle, where everything still runs through one person and nothing is written down yet.That\'s where I do my best work. AI tooling is part of how I build these systems — a force multiplier, not the point. If you\'re building something in that space and need someone who figures it out when there\'s no playbook, I\'d love to talk.
