ABOUT GRÉGOIRE GENSOLLEN
My fuel is discovery and helping creators and filmmakers deliver their craft at the highest level. As an entertainment industry executive and independent producer, my mission is to support established talents and champion new voices with bold, aspirational, socially conscious, and thought-provoking stories. As COO of a leading production & finance company founded by producer Tucker Tooley—his films including WE’RE THE MILLERS, THE FIGHTER, LIMITLESS grossed over $2.6B worldwide— I bring 20 years of experience in content strategy, film & TV development, international sales and distribution to my responsibilities in sourcing feature films, scripted series and new media projects, structuring co-productions and studio deals, optimizing financing, and overseeing global marketing. Born and raised in Marseille, France the world of film felt like a distant reality. After feeling unfulfilled in management consulting, a series of inspiring encounters with artists and immersing myself in cinema ignited my passion for storytelling. I knew I wanted to create stories and work with people who inspire me. I pursued my MBA at UCLA Anderson while enrolling in UCLA’s Producer Program to fully commit to storytelling and creative collaboration.I thrive on discovering talent early, helping creators turn bold ideas into boundary-pushing, emotionally resonant stories—across formats, platforms, and markets.I’m passionate about worldbuilding, dealmaking, and forging innovative strategic partnerships across Film, premium television, animation, audio, immersive experiences, VR/AR, generative AI and emerging tech.Career highlights include producing PAPICHA (Cannes’ Un Certain Regard; Algeria’s Oscar® entry; 2 César Awards including Best First Film), which earned me Variety’s “10 Producers to Watch” in 2019. In parallel, I executive produced the growing franchise DEN OF THIEVES 2 (No1 at the U.S. Box Office, Jan 2025), the podcast THE CROYDON CAT KILLER (Audible original, 2024), and the upcoming doc FINDING SATOSHI.Previously, my work at FilmNation at Lionsgate earned me recognition on Variety’s “Hollywood New Leaders” list in 2012.While based in the U.S, I nurture my European origins and my family ties to Latin America, and focus on the global acceleration of entertainment by bridging compelling international talents, stories and IPs with Hollywood.I’m excited to be part of this unfolding future: building franchise-based narrative worlds, leveraging multi-platform media and technologies, and pushing the boundaries of how fans and consumers discover and consume content.
