Experience
Laboratory Technician
Jun 2025 — Present · Sonoma County, CA, US
As a full-time Lab Technician at Cline Cellars, I support the winemaking process through precise chemical analysis, quality control, and cellar collaboration. I perform routine testing on grapes, juice, wine, and water to ensure product integrity from harvest through bottling. My responsibilities span daily lab operations, fermentation monitoring, bottling QC, and trial preparation—all while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.I manage wine analysis records and data systems, communicate key results to the winemaking team, and issue work orders to maintain wine quality. I assist with cellar operations including barrel sampling, topping, and sanitation.During harvest, I analyze grape maturity, monitor fermentations, and contribute to cellar tasks under high-pressure, time-sensitive conditions. On bottling days, I ensure tanks meet winemaking specs, conduct in-bottle QC checks, and support line operations to maintain packaging standards. My role demands precision, adaptability, and a deep understanding of wine chemistry and production workflows—skills I continue to refine as I grow within the wine industry.
