Hi, I\'m Greg Marra. I currently live near Boston and work at Meta after 8 years in the Bay Area after graduating from Olin College in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have a passion for how technology can inspire and connect people around the world. Interested in user-oriented design, interdisciplinary problem-solving, and autonomous systems. Outside of work, I volunteer with the high school FIRST Robotics Competition.

Currently:Reality LabsPreviously:Location Platform - Helping make the world more open and connected through location-powered products across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp. Working in Facebook\'s Location Platform group (in Boston and New York) that powers place search, location sharing, geo-indexing, and location features for ML systems. New Feed - Worked on Facebook\'s News Feed on projects have ranging from ux redesigns; to ranking and relevance improvements; to fighting spam, abuse, and manipulation. Explored the dynamics of social ranked content feeds, worked to better understand personal relevance, and found ways to get better signal from {personalized and objective}{engagement and content} features.
