After forming a Joint Venture with Solvd Health we are accelerating our mission to commercialize our microbiome diagnostics platform for assessing gastrointestinal health and preventing colon cancer. • Product Development / Assay Development: lead assay development effort of a microbiome-based colon cancer screening test, preparing the test for clinical trials and FDA design/control process • Regulatory Affairs: completed a successful FDA pre-submission which resulted in our test being granted an FDA breakthrough device designation • Clinical Operations: developed clinical operations plans, budgets and protocols for several large clinical trials designed to achieve analytical and clinical validation, negotiated master service agreements with leading CROs • Lab Operations: developed plans for a sqft molecular microbiology lab designed for CAP/CLIA certification, negotiated master lease agreement and regent rental agreements to build NGS and PCR lab core capability at minimal capital cost • Team Building, Recruiting and Management: recruited a multi-disciplinary team of data scientists/engineers and molecular microbiologists to develop core capabilities including AI+machine learning analytics platform, biomarker discovery, translational science, and metagenomics laboratory • Finance and Accounting: responsible for setting annual budgets and managing cash flow, established and managed accounting, AP and AR processes • Contracting: responsible for reviewing and executing numerous contracts and agreements • Investor Relations: prepared pro forma financial statements, annual plan and budgets, budget vs. actuals reports, and presentations to board of directors • Strategic Alliances: established, negotiated and managed several successful strategic alliances including but not limited to Diversigen Inc, and Harvard University • Intellectual Property: managed IP and patent portfolio prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement strategy
