ABOUT GREG HOGGETT

My background is building profitable businesses, principally within complex, regulated and safety critical environments. This has been across transportation and industrial (aviation, aerospace and defence) sectors. Including brownfield site development, turnarounds and the submission of proposals for overseas start-up businesses. Having successfully operated at Senior Executive and Board level positions within globally listed (FTSE 100) and privately-owned organisations. Providing strategic leadership and direction in enterprises ranging from £15M to £500M in turnover with teams from 150 to 1,500 employees operating in culturally and internationally diverse businesses. Developing and implementing complex business transformation programmes to anticipate changing customer preferences. Improving operational effectiveness and efficiencies across multiple locations in large multinational organisations, including mergers and acquisitions activity. I take pride in attracting, developing and retaining talented individuals, building and growing teams through creating a learning environment that ensures employees realise their highest potential, enabling the organisation to meet future challenges. Whilst maintaining the ability to hold teams rigorously accountable for achieving their objectives. Personally, I enjoy setting and achieving challenges alongside my working life, having successfully summited peaks in the Himalayas (Mera Peak at 6,476 m) and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean in the Atlantic Race (2002). More recently, as part of the TAG Aviation team, I successfully completed both the Farnborough-to-Paris cycle ride and the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge for charity.
