I am a licensed Captain and maritime operations leader with more than 20 years of experience across Navy support craft, commercial passenger vessels, yacht projects, and shipyard management. My career has always focused on ensuring safety, operational readiness, and delivering results on time and within budget.Currently, I serve as Project Manager at Marine Group Boat Works, where I oversee U.S. Navy, commercial, and yacht repair/refit projects from planning to delivery. I work closely with captains, owners, and trade teams to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule expectations.Previously, as Port Captain/Operations Manager with Pacific Architects and Engineers, I directed operations for three Navy Range Support Craft and led a 30-person team through maintenance planning, shipyard projects, and fleet safety programs. Alongside project management, I continue to serve as a licensed Captain, commanding passenger vessels and high-speed RHIBs for coastal operations and whale-watching tours off San Diego.I bring a unique combination of hands-on vessel command and strategic project management—bridging the gap between crews, owners, and government/contract stakeholders. I’m passionate about developing teams, building efficient systems, and ensuring mission success whether at sea or in the shipyard.
