About Gregg Kacprzak

My family\'s history has been one of the biggest inspirations in my life. My grandfather went from an entry-level engineer to a director for a large defense contractor through World War II and after. Nazi Germany\'s invasion of Poland forced my grandmother to flee Poland and immigrate to the USA. These childhood stories ignited a passion inside me for the defense industry of the USA. This influenced me to study Mechanical Engineering in college.My father was raised in the slums of Buffalo without a father figure in his life. His situation forced him to keep track of every dollar and how it was spent. His discipline inspired me to become aware of my personal finances. This led me to investing in my Roth IRA since I was 18 years old. I became fascinated with business and learned more about the different functions of successful business.My interest in both engineering and business led to a pursuit of an engineering degree and an MBA. My other interests include: reading, exercising, science and emerging technology, history, personal development, investing & trading, and curiosity about the world around me.
