Through my time as both a health insurance carrier rep and as a benefits consultant I constant fought an uphill battle against ever increasing claims costs. My whole career I had heard the phrase “the claims are the claims” which insinuated that nothing could be done to control those costs. That’s not the case anymore with Garner Health. When Garner is added on to any health plan with any carrier the claims will be reduced by steering members to the highest quality care providers as they are the ones who are also the least expensive providers of care. Now I get the opportunity to partner with the broker community to bring affordable and high quality care to their clients.
