About Gregg Gelb
Jazz is America\'s great original music and it adds an abundance of pleasure and joy to so many different events; from concerts, clubs, dances, weddings, memorials, and festivals. Jazz also tells us about the story of the American people and it\'s a wonderful subject in educational settings. A successful jazz musician and teacher is not only someone who is committed to perfecting their craft and learning its history but also someone who knows how to manage their time and musical groups, and knows how to communicate effectively with all types of clients and students. For over 25 years I have followed this path and I have been successful as a performer, teacher and band leader. My bands have entertained thousands at big festivals like First Night Raleigh, Centerfest, PeakFest, Artsplosure, and Duck Jazz Festival. We\'ve played for hundreds of special events and schools.
