This is how I help!As a Vistage Chair, I facilitate a peer advisory group made up of high-performing executives, CEOs, and business owners. The group’s sole purpose is to help people become better leaders and grow their companies while learning to live a balanced, meaningful life. Members find that I am compassionate, genuine, adaptable, and a good listener. My history of leading and growing companies provides a solid foundation for you to build on. In his book Good to Great, Jim Collins wrote, “In a truly great company, profits and cash flow become like blood and water to a healthy body: They are absolutely essential for life, but they are not the very point of life.” This is a good summary of my philosophy. I care very much about building businesses, but I also know that a balanced and meaningful life is vital to a person’s well being. Throughout my career, I’ve managed teams and led companies through all sorts of situations. I have a history of stable leadership, serving as president of a company for 14 years and as a senior executive for 11 years. I used my sales, marketing, and management experience to help companies grow and thrive. During that time I had the privilege of coaching and mentoring people to help them solve challenges and achieve more. I understand that business problems aren’t always about business. Sometimes they are related to personal issues. I learned to ask the right questions to get to the root of a problem so it could be truly solved, not just managed.For the past 12 years I’ve owned a consulting firm that provides strategic advising for small and medium-sized businesses. I draw on my three decades of marketing, sales, and executive management experience to help people and their organizations succeed.
