ABOUT GREG ERICKSEN

With over 20 years of experience in government and non-profit sectors, I am a passionate and effective leader who strives to address some of the most pressing issues in our communities, such as social justice, economic opportunity, and educational equity. As the Director of Government Partnerships and Policy at REDF, I lead the strategy to inform and influence policymakers at federal, state, and local levels to promote the growth of and investment in employment social enterprises (ESEs) and remove barriers for ESE employees.I have successfully developed and managed multiple government programs and grants, totaling over $60 million, that support community-based businesses and create jobs for people facing barriers to employment, such as homelessness, incarceration, or mental illness. I have also built and maintained strategic relationships with key partners and stakeholders across government, business, philanthropy, and non-profit sectors, to advance REDF\'s mission and vision. In addition, I have been selected as an Obama USA Leader for 2023, a prestigious program that recognizes and supports emerging civic leaders who are making a positive impact in their communities.
