ABOUT GREGORY DE PAEPE
With close to 20 years working in international and multicultural environments, I’ve built a career at the intersection of development co‑operation, public policy, and diplomacy. I’ve worked closely with governments and global organisations across Africa, Asia, and Europe, helping translate complex policy agendas, on development finance, effectiveness, and locally led development, into practical, actionable strategies. I have extensive experience working with partner governments and development actors on financing strategies, including development finance assessments, Integrated National Financing Frameworks (INFFs), and domestic resource mobilization. A trained evaluator and experienced facilitator, I hold advanced degrees in public policy evaluation, business economics, and international trade. I have led fact-finding missions across Africa and Asia and provided technical assistance to organizations such as UNDP, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, ODI, and the Asian Development Bank.Fluent in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Dutch.
