Project director and technical task lead for a wide portfolio of projects. As project director, I develop and guide research trajectories for teams consisting of faculty and graduate students from a broad range of scientific and engineering backgrounds. Additionally, I work on business development efforts by serving as a primary/contributing author on proposal and grant writing efforts that have sought $6M in funding and resulted in $2M+ awarded funds to date. I also lead the authorship of reports and publications resulting from these projects in order to further outreach and dissemination of our group\'s efforts. As a technical task lead, I lead the research & development of a broad range of efforts, including- Imaging science: radiometric pipeline modeling, synthetic image simulation, system calibration, image processing - Optical design of active/passive EO/IR systems: visible + thermal cameras, LiDAR systems, telescopes, hyperspectral imagers - 3D Modeling using Structure from Motion (SfM) and LiDAR data: automated fusion of point clouds, denoising of 3D datasets, target recognition in point clouds - Machine Learning (ML): time series analysis, object recognition, image segmentation
