I lead the Center for Global Discovery and Conservation Science, a global ASU research unit with faculty and labs based in Hawaiʻi and Arizona, focused on the exploration and stewardship of terrestrial and marine ecosystems. My scientific work combines terrestrial and marine ecology with sea, air, land- and space-based methods to discover, monitor and protect nature as it undergoes global environmental change.
