About Greg Woodward

I am a Senior Project Manager in the Water Global Practice at Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc. I have been based in Colorado for the 30 years of my consulting experience but worked on projects across North America. My experience is both with the technical elements of projects well as the management of a project’s progression. During my career I have held positions of business center and division management leader overseeing staff with an annual revenue of over $50M. My management and design approach focuses on problem solving with practical solutions, providing my clients and those I serve with high value-added results. Many of the projects I am involved with are being delivered through an integrated and highly collaborative delivery model. Working closely with owners to understand their needs and desires and extending those core elements through to the design and construction team is core to my expertise. I was born and raised in Colorado and continue to reside in this great state. I received a BS in Civil Engineering (1990) and a BS in Physics (also 1990) from Fort Hays State University. I am a licensed engineer in several states. I continue to support the Water Environment Federation, my local Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association, and the Design Build Institute of America as a volunteer in many committees which allows me to assist with programs, training, outreach and education that is core to these organizations’ mission. I’m an intent listener, thought provoking, rationale, innovative and insightful person that speaks plainly and concentrates on how I can be part of a team, project or personal relationship from which my expertise and knowledge supports success; for my clients, my peers and my family. I am currently focusing on bringing my skills and those of the entire Burns & McDonnell’s Water Global Practice to clients throughout the country.
