Directing and mentoring a cross-functional team of eleven managers supporting over 80 engineers responsible for the entire product life cycle from product development through service while supporting eight manufacturing facilities. Developed a team responsible for estimating, advanced engineering, prototype, die engineering, weld and assembly engineering, and product / program management that has become top Tier 1 supplier in its commodity group.o Centralized engineering department responsible for supporting eight manufacturing facilities.o Launched an average of 12 programs per year while improving launch quality metrics year after year.o Utilize department KPI metrics to improve team performance while driving improvement in these areas.o Negotiated contracts, tooling, and program costs with customers.o Championed the development and implementation of a PLM, program management, and engineering release system which standardized CAD, documentation, and launching of new products while saving over $1.5M annually.
