ABOUT GREG TIPPETT
As a Newfoundland boy, Greg was governed by twin passions: the wonders of nature and the power of construction equipment. These passions steered him to a career in Engineering, where his journey started in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador (College of the North Atlantic), continued in Thunder Bay, Ontario (Lakehead University) and continues today at Stantec Consulting Ltd. In Edmonton, Alberta. Combining his passions, Greg has helped his clients wisely manage the conveyance of water. Many of these projects cannot been seen from the surface. Through his trenchless and tunneling projects, he has been able to create minimally-invasive solutions to engineering challenges, cutting down on disruption to the customers these system serve.From his love of Engineering, he embraced the need for Delivery Excellence. Which led to his current position at Stantec; Regional Delivery Lead for the Western Canada Water Group at Stantec Consulting Ltd. He is currently responsible for the group’s project delivery and quality control. Greg has also been an active member of the North American Society of Trenchless Technology (NASTT) since 2009 and is current on the Executive Board.
