ABOUT GREG SOULE

I seek a technically driven environment where colleagues and management collaborate daily to achieve commercial success. Proven resource finder in a variety of structural, stratigraphic and unconventional settings. Since 1993 I have drilled over 50 wells adding value through reserve additions in exploration and development, clastic & carbonate reservoirs, structural & stratigraphic traps, and in conventional & unconventional plays. Project experience includes Colombian basins, fthe Rocky Mountain Thrustbelt, the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, Indonesia, Brazil, Gulf of Mexico, Madagascar, Kurdistan, Mackenzie Delta and Liard Basins. As a Technical Team Lead I manage an exploration team working diverse areas and plays as well as collaborate in all aspects of the Colombian operations teams. Our team has substantially added to our portfolio in 2021! In a similar past role I identified and staffed new growth areas and after approximately $60 million investment by our team, including 15 wells, new production and new leases, the assets were sold for $150 million. As an Explorationist, I have worked on large regional trends as well as focused, competitive play areas. As a Technical expert, I have acted as a consultant, a peer reviewer, and a mentor. As a Development Geologist I initiated and built a predictive depositional model and mapping for a core property which was still in use by subsequent geologists 10 years later. I also completed a 3D model for input to a reservoir simulator including field work & Special Core Analysis through to log & structural interpretation. As a petrophysicist, I developed products and promoted the integration of geomechanical analysis into the asset team’s workflows. I also completed projects involving relative permeability and special core analysis. I have been my own operations geologist as the majority have been complex structural targets. My project work has proven my ability to contribute to successful investments in exploration and production. I bring a positive attitude to any team, and love the challenges and problems of the business.
